Some of my earliest memories involve fantasy and science fiction art. My parents were both avid readers of sci fi and fantasy; authors such as Piers Anthony, Isaac Asimov, Roger Zelazny and more graced their shelves in rows up to the ceiling. The art was, in many cases, so captivating I'd look through them all just to see the covers long before I could read well enough to enjoy the stories. And I'll never forget discovering a copy of Boris Vallejo's Mirage hidden on the top shelf of their bedroom closet when I was eight.
