| So you're curious about me... I am sure you wonder why I chose to make a web site....simply put at the time I made it, I was a student with a lot of free time on her hands....now things have changed a little. The first site I ever made is called Anne Rice Central, which I don't update much anymore but remains online as I hope it always will. It has some very interesting pieces of information and pictures which I still consider to be rather different from a lot of other Ricean vampire sites out there. I still love Anne Rice books (the first three in the Vampire Chronicles being the absolute best) and you can find my other web site Ankh - the Alliance for Khayman. Khayman is my favourite Ricean character, go and visit the site if you are curious about the reasons for that. I graduated from university last year (2003) and am right now trying to figure out exactly what to do with my life...how boring a period that can be. Needless to say I won't go on about that too much. I live in France, in the Western suburbs of Paris in fact. How did I end up here well, that's thanks to a certain someone who we'll call between us, Amaury. Would you believe that I first met him on an Anne Rice forum? Crazy but true... I adore French culture and Paris is such a wonderful city. Perhaps you'd like to visit my Paris pages? |

| I come from a multi cultural background, something I had problems with growing up but now have learned to love. My dad is originally from Iran and my mum is Scottish. As for me, I grew up in bonnie Scotland, in auld reekie herself...if you don't know which city that is, sorry, I'm trying to be secret here (but failing badly, ah what fun!). Over to the left there is a picture of Islamic art which I (rather badly perhaps) scanned. |
| I
love to read and discover new things, I'm extremely curious and my dream
is to visit many other countries. Thus far I've been lucky enough to
visit Egypt and Iran as part of my degree. It was fascinating to see
the Middle East first hand, I saw a lot of interesting things and I'd love
to share more of my pictures with you in the future. As for
France...I believe I mentioned that already! I used to be (and perhaps still am) the kind of person who'd go through minor obsessions...I'd fall in love with something or someone and collect everything to do with them. Previous obsessions have been Led Zeppelin, ancient Egypt, The Queen of the Damned, Star Trek DS9 (excellent show), Brad Pitt, Antonio Banderas bah the list goes on! I guess my theory is to avoid apathy at any cost. I couldn't stand it to have life just drift by and not get something out of it. You should stop by my fanlistings pageto see just what kind of people I'm "obsessed" with. Yep...that's a picture of me down there. It's over a year old, I do apologise! When I ever get round to learning HTML or dream weaver whatever...I'll be back updating again! Thanks a lot for stopping by. :) |
