Oh yeah...there's no reason why you shouldn't go through, too. XD Feeling a little silly at having been appointed honorary 'gate-keeper', you sheepishly open the gate and step through, almost expecting to feel something special happen.
Nothing does, though. ^_^;; It's an ordinary gate to an ordinary field, albeit one you've been standing outside of for half an hour.
Feeling a little disappointed, you are consoled by the sight of another of the pretty equines. She seems quite happy to talk to you, trotting lazily over when you catch her eye.
You introduce yourself, thinking that the name seems to suit her. "It's nice to meet someone who's willing to chat," you say thankfully. "No one else stopped for long."
Fali'chirinien nickers in amusement. "Well, Yon is always hyper, and 'Sha'tu' is always busy with an agenda of her own. Sal'sella doesn't like strangers, I'm afraid, and my sire, Timpatret, and Ava'li just aren't fond of talking much."
"I'm glad it wasn't just me," you say. Fali'chirinien shakes her head, making her long, luxurious mane shine gently as it moves.
Entranced, you ask her for permission to touch, and she agrees easily. Thrilled at finally being able to feel one of the unicorns, you run your hands over her mane and coat, while she stands patiently.
