About the Author

Richard Rieben was born in Los Angeles, California, and raised in Seattle, Washington. He earned a history degree at the University of Washington and has written for newspapers in the San Luis Obispo, California, area as a general reporter and entertainment reviewer. He has bicycled around the world continuously for ten years. He is recently traveling in S.E. Asia, Central America and Estados Unidos. Reciprocia, published in March, 2000, is his first book.
