Roulette tricks

The probability of two mutually exclusive events (events where the outcome of the first does not affect the outcome of the second) occurring two times in a row is calculated by multiplying the probability of the first happening by the probability of the second.  Take a coin toss for example.  The probability of flipping a coin and getting heads once is 1/2.  The probability of flipping a coin the second time and getting heads is also 1/2.  Now the probability of getting heads twice in a row is 1/2 x 1/2 or 1/4.  This statistical law can be used in the same way to calculate the probability or odds of flipping a coin multiple times.

Example
Q.  What are the odds of flipping a coin multiple times and getting heads 5 times in a row?

A.  We use the probability of getting heads once which is 1/2 and multiply it 5 times to get the solution.

1/2 x 1/2 x 1/2 x 1/2 x 1/2 = 1/32 or  3.125%

How Does this Relate to Roulette?

There are two bets in roulette that pay nearly 1:1 and have a nearly 1/2 or 50% chance of winning.  These are odd/even or black/red (colors may vary).  Using a slight twist to the coin toss example above we can see that the odds of the dealer spinning the wheel multiple times and getting black 5 times in a row is 1/32 or 3.125%.  We use this simple fact against the casino to beat them every time.  Now that we're through the background math we can see how to use this statistical model to beat roulette.

Rules of the System

Now that we have a basic understanding of the theory.  We can get into the rules to follow in order to make this work.

Rule #1.  Pick one color and stick with it.

Rule  #2.  Every time you lose you have to double the previous bet.

Rule #3.  Every time you win you have to start back at your original bet.

The below table shows a player following the 3 rules for 50 spins.  The player is betting on red and their original bid amount is 5.
