Manowar is the greatest and on earth. They are also the official loudest band on earth. They won that title by being recorded in the Guiness Book Of World Records as playing at 129.5 decibels at a concert in Hanover, Germany. They are also the first band to have signed a record contract in their own blood, though others have since done the same.

Manowar fans are not like fans of other bands. We are fans until death. No true Manowar fan will ever desert the Kings Of Metal. Manowar's music is more than music, it is virtually a religion. The music is not political, it does not describe social ills, it provides a way to escape these things and have fun. The music also has a positive message, that you should believe in yourself and stand up for what you believe in. It inspires courage, honesty and loyalty, qualities missing from most people today. People may try to put metal down saying that it has a negatve influence on children, but they are wrong. True Metal is not about negativity, it's about the qualities in people that modern society is neither capable, nor interested in theaching the youth. Too many bands today (almost all of them), have forgotten that music is for entertainment, they have no sense of loyalty to their fans and will do anything to make more money. Manowar has withstood ridicule from posers and the media and has kept on doing what they, and their fans, love. That is, to play the best, heaviest Metal on earth.
