Verizon Firmware v5.0 (USA) Bypass Block

Requirements:
* USB Cable for phone.
* LGDownload (Download Now)
* VX8500 DLL (Download Now)
* BitPim (Download Now)

1. Install all three software: LGDownload, VX8500 DLL and BitPim.

2. Plug-in your USB cable into the LG Chocolate phone.

3. Open LGDownload software.

4. Goto "Config(C)" above and click on Port Settings. Select which port that is connected to your USB cable.

5. Click on "DLL" button with a blue check mark on the top left hand corner.

6. Click on "DLL" button that is next to the previous bottom.

7. Click on "Tri Mode" and then double click on "VX8500" under "Model Name".

8. Click on "OK".

9. Click on "NV Edit(F11)" on the left side of the program. (bottom icon)

10. Click on "NV Edit Start" front button.

11. Type: 000000

12. You will now hear sounds coming from your phone. (if the volume on the phone is un-muted)

13. Click "Exit" on the new pop-up window. (Located on the bottom right)

14. Goto "File(F)" (top left hand corner) and click on "Exit(X)".

15. Click "Yes".

16. Do not turn off your phone. It should read "Service Required" on the screen.

17. Now you are able to use BitPim.

18. When you are finished using BitPim, reboot your phone.
