Frequently Asked Questions

a.k.a. What not to do in an application

1. ‘Can you make the hair longer/give it jeans/change its clothes?’

[a.k.a. Graphic change]

Nope. Every chibishounen of the seven basic types have the same base graphic. We do not alter the graphic to create a chibishounen order. We colour it according to order. What can be done, though, are small add-ons. Earrings are mostly okay. Scars, tattoos, and other markings are perfectly fine. Personalised accessories are also mostly okay, if not too demanding. Previous personalised accessories we have done are matches, roses, scouters [DBZ, I think], and a trenchcoat on a small hatrack [very simple, really]. However, these accessories are done as favours, and are not obligatory. We reserve the right to reject an accessory request if we so deem fit.

2. ‘Can I have five, etc. chibishounen in one application?’

[a.k.a. Application Quota]

No, sorry. One per application is the norm, though two are perfectly welcome. However, three is usually the most we allow in any one application. We need time to do other people’s chibishounen, you know. Also, if you want to request for more than one chibishounen, please do not make multiple applications – compile the requests in one application. You can apply as many times as you want. You can get as many chibishounen as you want. However, note that it is best to send another application only after you have received the chibishounen you requested for in your previous application. The exception is when we are taking an exceptionally long time in dealing with applications, then you can apply again before you receive your chibishounen.

3. ‘Can you help me choose a name/colour for the eyes/hair/clothes?’

[a.k.a. Indecision]

Not on your nellie. We appreciate the thought that we are competent enough to whip up a dream chibishounen for you, but, seriously, it just gives us a headache. Please, please, make sure you know what you want when you apply for a chibishounen. No such thing as ‘surprise me’, or we might just surprise you in a very unpleasant way. We know how hard it can be to make such decisions, but we’re not the ones who should make it for you.

4. ‘Can I have the default chibishounen?’

[a.k.a. Insensitivity]

No, you may not. This is a matter that quite disturbs us. The so-called default chibishounen we have here are not default chibishounen. They are, to the contrary our own chibishounen. The only things default about them are their skintones and their clothes colours. We quite adore our chibishounen, and to see them being referred to as default hurts us [and them. How would you like it, eh?]. Not to mention, every chibishounen is unique.

5. ‘Can I have a female chibishounen?’

[a.k.a. Gender switch]

…Boy, you have got to be kidding. There is no such thing as a female chibishounen. I have said it once [and then some] and I will say it again. All chibishounen are MALE. It’ll be like asking for a female boy. There is no such animal.
