A to Z Of Westlife

A is for Adam, one of Nickys three middle names. His full name is Nicholas Bernard James Adam Byrne. Phew!!

B is for Birds. Mark is terrified of the feathered beasts- especially chickens!(No pun intended, honest!-Gem)

C is for Coast to Coast, Westlifes second album which stormed into the UK charts at No.1. It has 18 tracks, or is it more..??

D is for Dogs. Bryan has a Schi-tzu named Chip, Mark has a labrador named Snoopy and Shane has two German Shepherds called Oscar and Kaiser.

E is for Exhausted, something all the lads are. They have a tough schedule with very few breaks. "We haven't even got time to be tired!" laughs Mark

F is for Flying. They all say they're sick of it. They spend a lot of time in aeroplanes but they still choose to sing about doing it without wings. Risky, eh? (Oh haha.Very funny. Wait, I wrote this....-Gem)

G is for Garda. Nicky was training to be a policeman, and had passed all his exams before the band came along.

H is for horses. Shanes dad and brother Liam are dealers, and they have about 55 of them(Lucky!!-Gem) Even Mark has four horses!

I is for Ice Hotels. Kian says he wouldn't go anywhere near them- "It's interesting to look at, but not nearly as good as lying in the sun." I think most people would agree there. Bbbrrr!!

J is for Joker. Bryan is always messing about and making the others smile, but insists he doesn't take it too far. "If I found out something I was doing was annoying one of the lads, I'd stop"

K is for Kissogram. Kian used to be one, but it was simply for the money and he only did it twice. "People keep saying I was a stripper, it's so annoying. I wasn't!"

L is for Leaving the band. Mark has once come very close to doing it, but he thought it through and stayed.

M is for Marriage. Bryan is engaged to his girlfriend Kerry, even though the lads agreed not to get married for five years. Oh well!!

N is for No Stools, the official name for the first ever Westlife World Tour! It's a massive 52 date tour, going up and down the UK (several times!) and across the globe, including a record breaking eleven night stint at The Point in Dublin.

O is for Obfuscated, something they admit to frequently being. Don't worry, it's just a fancy way of saying.... well, drunk.

P is for Performing. They all get a huge buzz on stage, and now they simply laugh if they mess up cause they enjoy themselves so much!

Q is for Queasy. Nicky gets a bit like that in lifts, as does Shane on rollercoasters (even though he's been on one of the scariest rollercoasters EVER-Gem)- they're terrified of them.

R is for Ronan Keating. He co-managed the band in the beginning, and although he no longer does so he still helps 'em out.

S is for Stools. There's none on the tour, but the lads have gained a bit of a reputation for using them- and standing up at the key change!

T is for Tripping. Shane once tripped over in an airport, and Mark tripped down some stairs on SM:TV (Live UK Saturday morning TV Show).

U is for Underwear. Four of them once went on live TV without any. Shane had black boxers and white trouser, so he had to ditch the boxers. Bryan, Kian and Nicky decided to keep him company!

V is for Vain. Kian has a huuuuge reputation for being really vain, but he's not really! "People think I'm really vain, but I really don't care!"

W is for....Westlife, of course!!! Where would we be without them? (Rich, probably-Gem)

X is for Xmas, cause Westlife have had a Christmas No.1! The single was also the last No.1 of the old millenium and the first of the new one!

Y is for Yummy- all of them are, obviously! (Gorgeous is probably a better description, but it doesn't begin with Y-Gem)

Z is for Zany. They're all a bit nuts, basically!

Lost it a bit towards the end there- Gem.
