NEW YORK (Reuters) - marlboro cigarettes Major U.S. cigarette makers are expected to report lower third-quarter profits due in part to increased promotional costs, but going forward they should see improved results as the marketing efforts pay off, industry watchers said discount cigarettes.

Philip Morris USA and R.J. Reynolds, marlboro cigarettes the No. 1 and No. 2 players, respectively, which have been buy cigarettes battered by competition from cheap cigarettes, should also see a recovery as legal clouds lift. Altria, whose Philip Morris units make Marlboro cigarettes, should catch a tailwind from the weak dollar, while R.J. Reynolds trims its focus to key marlboro cigarettes brands Camel and Salem, analysts said.

"Recent sales data for the cigarette discount cigarettes industry continues to indicate that the fundamentals are improving in the U.S. market," said Goldman Sachs tobacco analyst Judy Hong, who has an "attractive" cheap cigarettes discount rating on the sector dute free cigarettes.

Months ago, the industry suffered numerous cheap cigarettes discount blows including increased state excise taxes, an influx of cheap products and higher sales of counterfeit cigarettes. Those factors have not disappeared, but their impact has begun to level off dute free cigarettes.
