| Oreo! is one cool looking site. The theme is just too cool, I love oreos, who doesn't? It is a bit plain, but easy on the eyes. The color combination is very well done. The navigation is fine, except for the games. They are in seperate pages of alphabetical order with 10 games per page. It's therefore difficult find the game you are looking for since you don't know what games start or end each page. There is also no complete list nor is there a seperation into genres. Overall though, it's not too bad since you only have to search through four games pages and the rest of the site is easily navigable.
There are a fairly average amount of games on the page and it increases by about one per day. Each game has one screenshot and a short description. Most of the descriptions are only two sentences long. Some are okay, but others are sadly lacking in information. It is, however, a nice place for no nonsense downloads and fast-loading pages.
Extra features include the news section, links, and about. The news section contains brief vivid writings of emotion. This is what really sets the site apart (along with the oreo theme) from other sites. It's cool and mysterious. The links section contains a very few links with short descriptions of each. The about section tells a little about the site and the webmaster. This small portion of extras is well-done.
"Oreo! is the combination of my two biggest passions. Writing extroardinary stories and classic gaming." That pretty much sums up the site. It's a nice refresher from the normal abandonware site. What makes it stand out is personality. Go and see what I mean by "cool and mysterious," you wont be disappointed. |
