If you want a thorough and official biography of Anne Rice I recommend 'Prism of the Night' by Katherine Ramsland which was written with the consent of Anne Rice.  Many of Anne Rice's novels have been made into graphic novels but these are rather difficult to get hold of.  I recommend searching on ebay but wait, I'll probably be bidding against you!  ha ha!  The only one widely available is the Vampire Lestat book

In case you wondered my favourite Rice non vampire/witch book is servant of the bones.  An eccentric choice maybe but I love that book.

I listened to Anne Rice's online interview with Bill Goldstein on October 26th.  You can read the highlights
here.

~ Brief Anne Rice biography ~

Anne Rice was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on October 4th 1941.  She is a best selling author  whose most famous work is probably 'Interview with the Vampire' due to the major film which was made in 1994 starring Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, Antonio Banderas and Christian Slater.  It was after watching this film that I first became interested in Anne Rice and I proceeded to read the vampire chronicles and the rest of her books.  I can honestly say that 'The Queen of the Damned' is the best book I have ever read.  Anne Rice is an excellent author which can be seen by the vast amount of web sites out there which are dedicated to her and her characters.  If you don't believe me, visit my links section.  I would recommend her books to everyone.  If you have not read any of her books you are missing out and you'll never know how great they are.
