I found an interesting web site which explains the meaning behind names. I was shocked to discover they have most of the vampire's names there! It may not be an accurate meaning but why not look anyway, if only for fun.

- My opinion of Azim -
Well he's not very likeable is he? I'm not sure if his ethnic origin is Nepalese however his temple was there so it's a good guess. I think what Akasha did to him was what he deserved, one of the few good things that she did do.
