I just got to a room that has a mechanism of wheels that are somehow
connected to eachother.
Can you tell me the way to proceed?
If this is in the section with all the gears in it, there should be two rooms with ropes in them,
you're supposed to get to the first room and pull all the ropes in order, which will trigger a cutscene
of a gear being raised (after all three ropes have been pulled, not after each rope). From there it's
a matter of getting to the second rope room and pulling the rope once. Provided things were done correctly,
the two gears should move into place and cause a large, circular door in the room below to open, revealing
a statue, go down into there for now (use the door in the middle).
What do I do, now that I'm in the room that the door revealed?
If you turn to the left, there's an opening on a platform to climb up in to, where you'll drop into a
small room. There should be a gold coin to pry out with your crowbar (just run up to it and hit action,
make sure the crowbar is chosen in the menu and Lara should grab it with no worries). Now run back out
of the room and avoid the new swarm of rats (best to find a safe place to climb onto if you can), and
then go up to the base of the statue and put the coin there.
How do I kill the three serpents in Trajan's Markets? I've tried flipping
then shooting but I run out of shotgun ammo before I kill one.
Use the pistols instead, they have infinite ammo, but remember, this takes a long time, and can get
quite boring! To all of the kids out there, turn your speakers off for this bit, you don't want to annoy
your parents!
How do I beat the octopus thing?
Run down here really quickly and hide behind one of the two pillars below. See the diamond eyes it has? get out the revolver and
shoot them out with it. You should have a few second gap to do this when you step out of the cover of the pillars.
After beating the octopus thing andpicking up the symbol, how do I lift up the manhole?
There is a brown handle at the edge of the manhole that you have to lift up. Core could have made this a bit more obvious.
