I have trouble with the beetles close to the beginning of the level with the bottom, middle and
top platforms where I have to reach into these niches. How do I get around these beetles without losing
too much health?
Those of you that have read Stella's Walkthrough would know that the lit torch does an "half-arsed" job at keeping
the beetles at bay. I tend to not bother with the torch much (it's worth throwing down into the pit anyway) and usually
"leg-it" (cockney phrase for run away for those of you who don't know) past the beetles.
How do I do that? Well the beetles like to follow you and tend to stay in a bit of a "pack". What you are aiming to do is to
run towards the niches that you have to get items and throw switches from and ROLL. Once you've rolled, do a running jump
over the pack and head to your next destination.
The timing should be about right but don't expect to get off scot free as you will lose some health, which is why Core
has provided you with a medpack in the near vicinity. If you're having trouble with timing and losing too much health, try
sprinting (the / key on PC) towards your goal or waiting a second or two if you're landing in the middle of the pack.
